SelectWear 43-S is a metal cored
electrode designed for surfacing with
the submerged arc process. This wire
produces a deposit of medium hardness
with excellent resistance to rolling and
sliding metal-metal wear. It may be
utilized for depositing multiple layers
that are crack-free and machinable.
APPLICATIONS:
Earthmoving idlers and
rollers, mine car wheels
DEPOSIT PROPERTIES:
Chemistry: Fe-Cr-Mn-Mo-C
Hardness (3 layers): RC40-45
Machinable with carbide tools
Will not cross crack
