Elgacore M690 is a metal cored wire suitable for welding high-strength low-alloy steels with a minimum yield strength of 700 MPa. It operates with Ar/CO2 shielding gas, and produces a stable arc with the typical deep and wide penetration that is found on metal cored products. The wire is CTOD tested.
